“Well made, does the job”
Surprisingly great quality, the airflow valve took me a minute to work out but once set it's simple. I ordered all the flavours except for orange, and they threw it in for me anyway. Very nice
Kirra M.
“Fits perfectly on my shelf”
I didn't even realize it came with a base haha but now I'll never lose it!
Sara P.
“Good for up north”
Was worried the cores would dry out quick in this heat but they've held up fine. Wish shipping up here was a bit faster but that's on the courier
Steve M.
“Feels quality, would recommend”
Ordered the strawberry and mint cores with my kit and both are good, mint lasts a bit longer than strawberry for me. They threw me in a free coffee flavour, tastes far better than I thought it would
Jake F.
“Perfect for the car”
Keep mine in the cupholder for the drive to work, keeps my hands busy in traffic
Harry H.
“Amazing first impression”
I love the packaging, I wish I took a photo but the parcel had a hand written note on it too :) and they gave me a free flavour!
Lucy M.
“Bought two, kept one for myself”
Ordered one as a gift for my son and ended up buying a second for me. I should have just got 2 with the bundle!! XD Strawberry core smells lovely too, not sickly
Wendy S.
“Could do with more flavours”
The mint and coffee are good though
Jake R.
“One of each”
I got my husband and I the double bundle and we are pleasantly surprised! We thought he would prefer the wood but he says he likes the steel more!
Sandra P.
“love it!”
saw this all over my feed and finally caved. genuinely so much nicer than I expected, its sooo satisfying to sit and spin it on the base while I study
Chloe B.
“Does exactly what it says”
Brian T.
“Thoughtful packaging, great product”
The unboxing alone was worth it, nice box and a handwritten message. Device itself is heavier than I expected in a good way. Coffee core with my actual coffee in the morning is a good combo.
Pryia N.
“Beautiful little gift”
My sister got me one for my birthday and I was skeptical at first. The walnut one feels lovely in the hand and the mango core actually tastes like mango. I keep it on my desk and fidget with the spinner more than I use it for the flavour at this point
Lynda H.
“Very well done”
They wrote me a handwritten message wishing me luck on my journey, and threw me in an extra flavour! They must know I love blueberry!!
Emma-Lee J.
“Ordered after seeing it on Facebook”
I got the wood, looks better than the photos. Fits nice in my hand. Convinced my partner to get one too. He loves the coffee flavour.
Mel R.
“10/10”
Sam B.
“Smells SO good”
I love the smell when you first open the pack! I thought they might taste too strong but they actually aren't too intense
Darius M.
“Better than I thought”
The wife grabbed us a pair after seeing an ad on Facebook, I half expected it to be a gimmick. Turned out to be pretty good and low and behold she was right
Dave K.
“This worked for me”
I tried the gum it was gross, tried two different apps, pointless. My mate said this worked for him so gave it a go. The fidget is actually really good, the click is really satisfying.
Jake T.
“Smart idea”

The Science
Designed to replace the hand-to-mouth ritual
Three things to do with your hands: a precision thumb spinner, a handle that clicks as it turns, and a magnetic base the whole device spins on. Load a Core, draw, and you get cold clean air and real botanical flavour. Our Cores are made from plant-derived compounds and have been assessed in third-party toxicology testing.

Got Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about FAD.
Does FAD produce any vapour or smoke?
No. FAD produces zero vapour, zero smoke and zero aerosol. You inhale naturally flavoured air drawn through the botanical Core. Think of it like herbal tea in air form, nothing combusted, nothing atomised.
Does FAD contain nicotine?
Absolutely not. FAD is 100% nicotine-free. Our Cores contain only plant-based aromatherapy blends.
How long does a Core last?
Each Core lasts approximately 3 to 5 days depending on your usage. Every pack contains 3 Cores, so a pack runs around 10 days. The Self-sealing magnetic chamber keeps Cores significantly fresher between sessions.
How does the fidget mechanism work?
FAD features three built-in fidget options: a precision thumb spinner, a tactile clicking rotating handle, and an included magnetic floating base the entire device spins on freely.
Do you ship across Australia?
Yes, to every state and territory. Shipping is free on orders over $60 and a flat $5.99 below that. Most orders arrive in 3 to 5 business days, and anything placed before 2pm AEST Monday to Friday is dispatched the same day from the Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Is FAD legal in Australia following the vape ban?
FaD is a mechanical inhaler with a plant-based flavour Core. It contains no nicotine and no e-liquid, and it produces no vapour, aerosol or combustion. There is nothing to charge and nothing to register.
What if I don't like it?
Cores and devices go in the mouth, so we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If a device arrives damaged or develops a fault, we exchange it for a brand new one. Email us at admin@thefad.com.au with your order number and a photo and we will sort it out. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Is the device covered by a warranty?
Yes. Every FaD device carries a 12 month warranty from delivery against manufacturing faults, covering the self-sealing magnetic chamber and the fidget mechanism. Email your order number and a photo of the problem to admin@thefad.com.au and we will replace it. Drops, crushing, submersion and normal cosmetic wear are not covered, and Cores are consumable so they sit outside the warranty. All of this is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which nothing here limits.
